Our very large campsite is situated up Primrose Lane just a short(ish) walk from the town centre. From the town hall, travel along Dewsbury Road past the bus station and The Marsh towards Heckmondwike turning right approx. 200 mtrs along the dual carriageway, just past the small industrial estate and up the side of PJ's Gymnasium and Health Club
We can accommodate all types of camping units, however we do not have any electric hook up facility. The field is flat and grassed in full. Heavy rain can cause minor flooding but this is a rarity.Car parking spaces are allocated next to your camping unit.
Due to local authority regulations barbecues are NOT allowed on the campsite. Breach of this rule could cause us to lose this valuable facility
Facilities
Toilets, showers, food wagon, skip and water bowsers have all been arranged. The site is stewarded with an added security presence 24hrs a day from Friday to Sunday night. It is each individual campers responsibility for the safety and security of their personal belongings.
Transport
The festival provides a mini-bus service over the weekend from the campsite to the Town Hall via the Craft Fair. This is a free service- however we would be happy to receive donations towards the cost of this via any of the festival collecting boxes. Thank you.
